Fair of Peace and Fraternity of the Free World of 1955

The Fair of Peace and Fraternity of the Free World (Feria de la Paz y Confraternidad del Mundo Libre) of 1955, was an international "world's fair" hosted in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Trujillo dictatorship.

Many foriegn dignitaries, including then president of Brazil, Juscelino Kubitschek, attended the Fair, where for one week "the agricultural, industrial and commercial wealth of the country", were put on display.

The event included many performances, however, it was the many great architectural structures, some of which still stand today, that defined the fair.
