New Art Gallery opens in Harlem with an emphasis on Latino Art

The Harlem art scene has received a major boost, with the opening of Tatiana Pagés Gallery, a space dedicated to supporting contemporary art and design from all continents with an emphasis in Latin American Art.



The new art space was founded by Tatiana Pagés, an activist designer, collector and jewelry designer, who is also the CEO and Chief Creative officer of the New York city based Greencard Creative.

Pagés, was born November 1960 in Chile, but was raised in the Dominican Republic. Her career includes works for Smirnoff Ice, Pepsico/Ocean Spray, Heineken, Diageo, Petit Nectars, Gallo Winery, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer and Frito Lay.

In 2010, she founded Origomu, a global movement that seeks to inspire environmental action through design.

The gallery officially opened to the public on July 1st, with the exhibition THOUGHTS & SENSES, featuring works from six different artists.
