Julianny Ariza

Julianny Ariza is a visual artist and illustrator, born in Santo Domingo in 1987.

In 2008, she graduated from the Nacional School of Visual Arts in Santo Domingo, with a degree in Fine Arts.

In 2010, she graduated from the Altos de Chavon School of Design, in La Romana, with a degree in Fine Arts and Illustrations. In this same year, she became a member of the Ramona Collective, "a group of visual artists residing in the Dominican Republic, with a passion for creating projects that cause reactions that go hand in hand with the people, culture, and environmental stewardship."

Since 2004, Ariza has participated in several group exhibitions throughout the Dominican Republic, and has also exhibited in the United States (Miami, Florida and Rhode Island), and in Germany, after receiving a Scholarship, Artist in Residence to the Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral in Bad Ems, Germany.

In 2011, Julianny Ariza founded the Escuela Arte Hogar in Santo Domingo, offering workshops in illustrations, painting, community projects and more.
